According to László Pósán, FIDESZ parliamentarian, 15 billion HuF might be given for dormitory improvements in Debrecen.Dormitories of the University of Debrecen might be improved in the near future with the help of 15 billion HuF support – said László Pósán, FIDESZ prliamentarian on Tuesday (20th of December) at a press conference in Debrecen.
The money will be used for renovating and modernizing old buildings and a new university dorm also will be built at the Faculty of Agriculture. The new building will provide accomodation for about 350 university students. Constructions will start in 2018.
The University of Debrecen has 16 dorms now, these buildings serve about 3500 university students.
László Pósán also spoke about the fact that the number of foreign students in at the University of Debrecen is getting higher and higher each year and these students are looking for quality dormitories during their stay in Hungary.
