Programme: Harold Crick works as a tax auditor and lives his life by numbers and his wristwatch. One morning he begins hearing a disembodied female voice narrating his life as it happens and his watch stops working as well. He consults a psychiatrist who suggests that if it really is a narrator, he should visit an expert in literature. Thus, Harold visits Jules Hilbert, a literature professor, who recognizes aspects of a literary work in Harold’s story and encourages him to identify the author. So he gets to Karen Eiffel, the author, who does not know anything about that the protagonist of her upcoming novel is an existing person. Karen and Harold are in trouble: Karen has suffered from writer’s block for a long time and now she is about to write her greatest novel ever, which demands a tragic ending. Starring Will Ferrell, Emma Thompson, Dustin Hoffmann.

The film will be screened in English with English subtitles (113 minutes).
