The Moscow-based, independent RUR Rankings Agency has been publishing its rankings since 2010. The list includes the 1,000 best universities in the world based on 20 factors grouped into 4 areas: education (40%), research (40%), international diversity (10%), and financial sustainability (10%).
The just-published 2018 world list includes the University of Debrecen as well. Our institution is ranked 586th.
The UD achieved its best result, ranking 460th, in the category of international diversity – reported the Science Directorate of the UD explaining the data published on Monday.
The list is headed by three US-based institutions: Harvard University, the University of Chicago and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). As for the three Hungarian universities making the list, Central European University (CEU) is ranked 251st, Semmelweis University 336th, and the University of Debrecen 586th.
