The University of Debrecen has received 2 billion and 250 million forints to cover their scientific researches.Ten other Hungarian universities and the University of Debrecen managed to get into a special program which helps them to cover their scientific researches with an exceptional amount of financial support.
The university is doing scientific researches on five themes, such as therapeutic developments, biotechnology, energy, water research and Big Data. The support is enough to finance the work of thirty researcher groups and hundreds of researchers.
The University of Debrecen got the highest amount of support among the universities.
