Kristi Karelsohn, Estonia’s Ambassador to Hungary visited Debrecen on 18 March 2019.
She was welcomed by Szabolcs Komolay, vice-mayor. In a meeting, they have discussed economic developments in Debrecen. According to Karelsohn, beside Budapest, Estonian companies should also build connections with Debrecen.
The Estonian ambassador also visited the University of Debrecen. As the university has a Finno-Ugric department, it would be desirable to deepen cultural connections between the two countries – said Karelsohn.
