The first year of UD’s nationally unique two-semester sports analyst training took the final exam. The postgraduate course launched last year gives professionals working in sports clubs and academies adequate knowledge to use modern performance diagnostic tools and to interpret the results.

For the first time in the country, a sports analyst training course was launched at the University of Debrecen with the aim of acquainting students with the most modern sports and performance diagnostic tools and the latest data processing methods.

This is an elite training, in which the number was not the main consideration, we started with a relatively small number of students, 14 people, in order to achieve the appropriate internship time in the diagnostic laboratory, SET. The postgraduate training was attended by those who are specialists from prominent academies, leading national and international clubs, physical education teachers, trainers, physiotherapists, and human kinesiologists. During the interactive education, they could also share their direct practical experiences – László Balogh, director of the Institute for the Coordination of Sports Science (DESKI) of the University of Debrecen, told hirek.unideb.hu.
