164 graduates of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management of the University of Debrecen (DE MÉK) took the engineering oath on Saturday. The graduation ceremony was held under strict epidemiological measures in the Courtyard of the Main Building.
At the ceremony, Zsuzsa Lisztes-Szabó, a senior researcher at the Nuclear Research Institute, took over the title of honorary university professor. Béla Kocsy, a diplomat in agriculture and the environment at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Árpád Szalacsi, CEO of Nyírerdő Zrt., Will later receive the title awarded by the Rector and Senate of the University of Debrecen. The Council of DE MÉK awarded an honorary associate professor to Mihály Bodnár, the managing director of Pro Tiszatáj Nonprofit Kft., Zsolt Fülep, the director of Balmaz Sütöde Food Processing and Trade Ltd., , and László Hadászi, Chief Innovation Officer of KITE Zrt.
At the ceremonial council meeting, Stefania Boda and Nikoletta Kiss received the Certificate of Recognition from the Board of the Student Self-Government of the University of Debrecen for their activities in the student self-government and its organizations. Levente Lasancz received the Certificate of Recognition from the President and Vice-President of the Student Self-Government of the University of Debrecen for his professional and public activities at the university.
