The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen and Enjoy Robotics Zrt. were the first in the country to sign a cooperation agreement. The aim of the joint work is to establish and long-term development of an internationally competitive domestic social robotics industry.
As a result of the coronavirus and labor shortages, significant robotics developments have started worldwide, of which Hungary also wants to become an active part. Through the university-industry cooperation, a scientific, educational and industrial center will be established in the region for the development and production of robots in Hungary that meet Hungarian and European needs.
The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen wants to become a scientific, educational and industrial knowledge center for the Hungarian social robotics industry, to which the cooperation agreement has just concluded.
Géza Husi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen, said that the cooperation is an exciting and challenging task for the university as well, which requires the strengthening of the research and scientific activities of lecturers and students, and puts creative, innovative thinking at the forefront.
