The gift shop of the University of Debrecen is available in a new location on the ground floor of the Learning Center with an expanded space. The much larger UD Shop awaits its customers from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
New Learning Centre Can Be Used By University Students From Monday
From the beginning of the semester, students were able to take possession of the institution’s modern learning center, where a variety of university and DEAC logo clothing, stationery, and souvenirs could be purchased in a renovated, larger-than-ever sales area of approximately 100 square meters.
Those entering the store are greeted by samples placed in glazed display cases – hats, scarves, ties -, t-shirts and sweaters of different colors and shapes lined up on hangers. Of course, there is no shortage of stationery for learning: booklets, folders, and pens with the official logo of the university. T-shirts with faculty logos tailored to the needs of medical students are also waiting to be hosted, and it is planned to expand this offer with products from other faculties.
A special feature of the UD Shop is that in addition to the coat of arms, the name of the owner can be embroidered on the white coats, which are essential for laboratory work.
Those who are about to graduate can choose as a farewell gift from the offerings of teddy bears with UD inscriptions or even with a student cap, but eDE, the university mascot, can also be purchased there.
As for the store’s adaptation to the epidemic: a mouth mask with a logo is already available. The revamped University Gift Shop on the ground floor of the Learning Center is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
