He received the award at the Parliament.
Currently, the Hungarian Order of Merit is the fourth highest Hungarian state award. The degrees of the Order of Merit are awarded to persons who carry out exemplary activities in the field of culture, science, art, as well as in their own field of specialization – in order to promote the interests of Hungary and increase the universal human interests. In all cases, the awards are presented by the President of the Republic, nominated and countersigned by the Prime Minister or the respective Minister.
On the 14th of March, the athletes and managers from our Olympic team of short track speed skaters received various degrees in connection with the Order of Merit.
