He enrolled in the subject of civil law from the beginning and took a lion’s share throughout his education. He regarded the staff of the department not merely as colleagues, but as friends, almost as family members He bore the fate of all the departmental workers at heart. You could always count on him. In addition to his professional guidelines, he helped all colleagues in the department with his advice on life, excellent humor, and a caring, fearful attitude. He paid great attention to the education of professional youth. In the meantime, several of his students have become university professors. He was selflessly pleased with the success of his colleagues.

He is a founding member of the Géza Marton Doctoral School of Political Science and Law and has obtained a Ph.D. degree for seven years.

His work has been recognized with several domestic and international awards.

He was an excellent lecturer, his lectures were understandable, and of a high standard, and they deserved recognition from the students as well. In addition to his scientific activities, he was also an active participant in curriculum development and development.

His disciples loved and respected him, they always spoke of him with the utmost appreciation.

His performances were attended in large numbers despite the early start of the morning. Students were elected Teacher of the Year several times. His proverbs, examples explaining the institutions of civil law, have become an anecdote among students and colleagues alike.

Thanks to his exceptional memory and precision, he often recalled his readings from decades earlier.

György Csécsy’s teaching and human habitus, his unconditional attachment to the University of Debrecen, accompanied his work throughout and he took an active part in the life of the faculty until his death.

He has lost a key professor in the Faculty of Law, who, in addition to his professional and scientific work, will also lack his humanity, directness, and humor.
