Sixty-five exhibitors representing medium-sized, small and large companies and recruitment companies awaited the interested parties at the traditional autumn Job Fair of the University of Debrecen, which was organized by the Career Center of the Student Self-Government of the institution on Wednesday in the main building.
At the event, in addition to professional internships, the exhibiting institutions, companies, and companies also offered a foreign scholarships and work opportunities.
The Job Fair was open to everyone. In addition to former students, the organizers were primarily expecting current students, for whom it was worth visiting the event mainly because of the professional practice opportunities. In addition, those who want to try themselves abroad during their studies could learn about the Erasmus program, other foreign scholarships and volunteer work opportunities. And the soon-to-be graduates had a good chance of finding a job where they could start working at the beginning of next year. Foreign students could search for international companies, as English is the working language in many places.
Returning exhibitors took part in the Job Fair again this year, but a good number of newly applying institutions and organizations arrived, the increasing number every year clearly shows that the program has a future. The exhibiting companies stated that since there is a labor shortage in the Hungarian labor market, they are happy to appear at events where they have the opportunity to meet a potential employee in person.
