The University of Debrecen and the university chaplaincy organized a joint commemoration on Thursday in the University Church, where they remembered the teachers, staff and students of the institution who died in the past year by lighting candles.
May our commemoration be peaceful, soothing to our souls, quieting our questions, consoling our doubts – greeted those who came to the commemoration
– reformed university pastor Attila Bogáti.
The commemoration continued with a psalm by Greek Catholic university pastor László Kiss, and a sermon by Lutheran pastor Richárd Asztalos.
The commemoration ended with candle lighting and joint prayer in the University Church.
