From Friday, April 14, patients can be visited again at the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen. The government office revoked the ban on visits ordered in February because the number of people visiting a doctor with flu-like or acute respiratory illnesses is constantly decreasing in the county.
Due to the large number of influenza-like illnesses in the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen, the visit ban came into effect in February as an epidemiological preventive measure in order to ensure continuous and safe patient care and the protection of patients and healthcare workers.
However, according to the respiratory monitoring data, fewer and fewer people go to the doctor with flu-like symptoms in Hajdú-Bihar county, which is why the government office decided to lift the visit ban.
