Helping professionals received a diploma at the University of Debrecen

A total of 234 students received their diplomas at the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Debrecen. Professionals who have just graduated can find employment on the labor market as social workers, nurses, custodians, and dieticians, among others. In addition to the awarding of diplomas, awards were also given to those students who achieved outstanding results in the last academic year at the faculty.


Certified health social workers, health teachers, extended nurses, rehabilitation specialists, public health specialists, certified social economy specialists, certified nutritionists, public health inspectors, nurses, health organizers, social workers, school social workers, and international behavioral consultants were able to receive their certificates. at the graduation ceremony organized by the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Debrecen on Saturday afternoon in the Dízdvara of the UD Main Building.

Marianna Móré, the dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, emphasized in her celebratory speech that every newly graduated specialist can be proud of the results they have achieved and the knowledge they have acquired, as they have the right to help others.

At the end of a period of hard work, the graduates were able to receive their diplomas. With this diploma in hand, they are able to prove themselves in the world of work, but they also have to remember the conditions of acquiring knowledge and the useful experience gained in practical places. Receiving the diploma is a celebration for everyone, but in addition to the pride, there is also a concern, as soon they will have to show that they did not receive the diploma without merit, they will have to stand up in areas where there is perhaps the greatest shortage of professionals. The faculty represents a special value for the university, as we serve science and meet the challenges of everyday life at the same time. Up-to-date practical knowledge forms the basis of the faculty’s complete set of knowledge, with which we will continue to try to help the development of our students in the future. The professionals who have just graduated will have the noble task of preserving the prestige of their noble profession, of working with such dedication in the field of social care, health preservation, care, health protection and health administration organization that it contributes to the improvement of the social situation of the population and the preservation of their health

– said the head of the faculty.

At the graduation ceremony, the students who performed outstanding work in the faculty were recognized, the Outstanding Student of the University of Debrecen award, the Certificate of Appreciation of the President and Vice President of the Student Government were presented, and the work of those who participated in the activities of the Verzár Frigyes Vocational College and the Talent Development Program of the University of Debrecen were also rewarded.
