The University of Debrecen announced a number of bachelor’s, master’s and undivided majors as part of the supplementary admission procedure. In addition to the self-funded courses, you can also apply for programs with state scholarships in priority training areas, including the newly launched six-semester Bachelor of Coaching program.
As is well known, the point limits for the higher education courses were made public on Wednesday evening, based on which the University of Debrecen admitted an unusually large number of applicants to the announced courses.

Those who did not manage to get into the designated major this time, or who did not submit their application anywhere at all, still have the opportunity to enroll. The supplementary admission procedure has started, during which the University of Debrecen traditionally announces self-funded courses, but in the priority training areas, you can also apply for programs with state scholarships for basic, master’s and undivided courses.

In 2023, applicants can submit their applications for state-sponsored basic, master’s or undivided training in a total of seven training areas: teacher training, agriculture, economic sciences, technology, IT, medicine and health sciences, and natural sciences. Eleven faculties offer training opportunities to applicants for supplementary admissions. You can find out about them by clicking here.

There will also be something new in the replacement admission procedure, as it is now possible to apply for the six-semester bachelor’s degree in coaching. During the daytime classes, students will be able to acquire knowledge of the coaching profession in aerobics, athletics, judo, handball, basketball, football and swimming from sports professionals with domestic and international experience. The sports science, sports theory, sports professional and practical background is provided by modern sports facilities and laboratories unique in the country, as well as three prominent state academies, DEAC Basketball Academy, DVSC Handball Academy, DVSC Football Academy and DEAC, DVSC, DSC – DSI associations, as well as the MOB and national sports associations.

You can apply for courses at the University of Debrecen in the supplementary admission procedure through the e-admission system until August 6. The documents to be attached to the application must be uploaded at the same time as the application.

The point limits are expected to be announced on August 28, when it will be decided whether the applicant has been admitted to the training he has indicated. Those admitted will receive the admission decision and information about enrollment from the institution in the first days of September.
