Halott Pénz, the Király brothers, Manuel, the LGT Zenevonat and Topic all happily took the stage at last year’s opening stadium show of the University of Debrecen. Let’s recall together the best moments of the sold-out mega-event, which remained unforgettable for the performers as well.
Around six hundred performers and nearly a thousand contributors behind the scenes took part in the 2024 yoUDay program. For the University of Debrecen’s unique academic year opening, the cream of the Hungarian pop music scene brought their biggest hits to the Nagyerdei Stadium.
Manuel’s songs were sung in unison by the packed crowd, and twenty thousand voices joined Marsalkó Dávid and Járai Márk for the greatest hits of Halott Pénz. The LGT Zenevonat had the audience dancing, while the Király brothers provided the musical backdrop to a marriage proposal. The spectacular finale, full of special visual effects, was made truly unforgettable by German star DJ and producer Topic.
This year, the ninth stadium show is planned to be bigger than ever. Tickets for the most important university party of the year can be purchased through a brand-new online platform. On the new website, visitors will find plenty of surprises and useful information, and artificial intelligence will even provide answers to questions about yoUDay.
