The number of guest nights spent in Hungarian commercial accommodations fell by an annual 89.8% to 174,000 in January as pandemic restrictions weighed, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said.
The number of guest nights spent by domestic tourists dropped by 85.5% to 115,000, while the number spent by foreign visitors declined by 93.5% to 59,000. Revenue of commercial accommodations fell by 90.8% to 3 billion forints (EUR 8.2m).
