Debrecen Police arrested a 39 years old Algerian man on the 26th of January. He is a suspect of a burglary series committed in the last three months.

There were 6 traffic accidents causing property damage, 3 accidents with serious and 2 with light injuries. A total of 8 people injured in these accidents 6 person injured lightly and 2 seriously. The inappropriate use of speed, and the driving against the road and visibility conditions caused the accidents.
A man who was infected by H1N1 died in Debrecen, He was already on a breathing machine said Piroska Orosi, Head of the Infection Department of the Medical and Health Science Centre of the University of Debrecen.
The public transport tariffs will change from first of January. The season tickets bought in December are valid until 7th of January. All the season ticket will be valid for 30 days and for students it will cost 3180 HUF. The tickets, bought this year, are valid until 31th of March 2010.

Wild animals are around in the Kölcsey Convention Center on the 2nd floor cicular galerie and in sectionrooms from 2th of December 2009 – 3th of January 2010. The exhibition came from the Hungarian Natural History Museum.
More than hundred litoghraphies are waiting for the visitor since 5th of December in the Kölcsey Convention Center. These artworks of Chagall belong to the collection of Richard H. Mayer. Debrecen is the last station of the exhibition. It will finish on 20th of December.
