A dead infant was found in a house in Magyarmecsek (Baranya County) on Friday evening.
According to the available information, a bleeding woman was taken into hospital on Friday afternoon. After she received medical assistance, it turned out that she gave birth a few days ago.
The police went to the house of the woman and found a dead infant. The medical examiner says that the baby was born alive and that the cause of death was abandonment.
The 39-year-old woman is still in hospital; because of her condition, she could not be interrogated.
