József Attila Primary School Berettyóújfalui has been expanded with a new building.
The Berettyóújfalui Tankerületi Központ won almost HUF 385 million in support for the investment in the tender of the Human Resource Development Operational Program (EFOP).
At the handover on November 3, Member of Parliament István Vitányi stated that this investment also represents a policy that helps to eliminate the quality differences between the city, the capital, and the countryside, and ensures housing, learning, and prosperity on the spot.
Gabriella Hajnal, President of the Klebelsberg Center, said that in the last four years more than 700 institutions have been renewed in Hungary with tender support, more than 140 billion forints, of which Berettyóújfalu received 2 billion forints for infrastructure investment.
Representing the Hajdú-Bihar County Self-Government, Vice-President László Bulcsu took part in the ceremony, emphasizing that Bihar was not lost; and here is the stamp on the envelope of the message, this building. As he said, human labor will keep the area, and Berettyóújfalu has taken on the role of the lead ship, while also leaving the countryside alive. According to him, there is no lost Bihar, there is developing Bihar.
Pálma Majosi, director of the Berettyóújfalui Tankerületi Központ, presented the project in detail. He said that two interconnecting rooms have been set up on the ground floor of the new barrier-free building, where chamber music can be taught and practiced, and there is also a concert hall with a competition piano on the lower level. During the development, furniture and IT equipment were also acquired, so the institution can provide quality education, modern theoretical and practical training for about 250 children in modern conditions.
