As Christmas approached, Hajdúsági Sütödék Kft. donated products worth HUF 1.3 million to the Debrecen Charitable Board on December 15, 2021, which provides more than 17,000 sandwich bases and pastries to about 3,500 families in need through four participating institutions and organizations- the board states in a statement.

Tamás Szakács, the managing director of Hajdúsági Sütödék Kft., expressed his joy at being able to present this donation to the Debrecen Charitable Board before Christmas. As he said, donating is not a one-way process because the donor not only gives but receives as well. The staff of the Hajdúság Bakeries does something with a good heart for the benefit of the community, and in return, they receive pleasure from those who have been gifted. Incidentally, this is not just a one-time event, as they are constantly supporting organizations that deliver donations to those in need every day of the year.

The value of the current donation is increased by the fact that the products are one of the Vitajó brand products belonging to the company’s Smart Food brand family, which contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system and reduce fatigue through their special ingredients. The Hajdúsági Sütödék group of companies has been researching this special food segment from its own resources for 21 years. Through the donation, those in need in Debrecen, as well as the elderly, will be able to get acquainted with these new products, which will be on the market from the middle of January 2022, for the first time.

Éva Rózsahegyiné Éva Juhász, the chairman of the Debrecen Charitable Body, thanked the donation and emphasized that more and more individuals and entrepreneurs are visiting the body every year with their offers, and fortunately not only as Christmas approaches, as the help is always good. The products of Hajdúsági Sütödék Kft. Can now be tasted by those living in the nursing homes of the City Social Service of the City of Debrecen, as well as through the EU-Roma National Association, Refomix Kft.

According to Lajosné Nagy, the head of the City Social Service of the City of Debrecen, these delicious pastries are a surprise worthy of Christmas for their elderly caregivers, the Debrecen Charitable Body recalled.
