The police revealed details about the murder of the American woman who disappeared from the party district of Budapest last week. As we already reported, the 31-year-old woman with American citizenship disappeared in Budapest, she was last seen on November 5th.
The police statement on Friday revealed that the woman had been killed and that the suspect had already been arrested. The police now says that after analyzing the surveillance cameras, the current suspect “came into the police’s sight”. The Irish man, a few years older than the woman, also came to Budapest as a tourist back in October. On November 5th, they met at a nightclub, then that night they went to several nightclubs, and finally went to the man’s rented apartment in Erzsébetváros, where they became intimate. It is suspected that the man then killed the girl.
After what he had done, the Irish man tried to erase the traces, cleaned the apartment, hid the woman’s body in a closet, and then went to buy a suitcase. He hid the body in the suitcase he bought, took it to Szigliget – near Lake Balaton – in a rented car, and hid it in a wooded area.
