Employees of Nagy-Víz Kft. will carry out connection works at a junction on Kossuth Street in Debrecen on Wednesday, August 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A water shortage is expected in the following areas:
- Debrecen, Sas Street 4
- Kossuth Street 12, 18 and 20
Firefighting water will not be available during the works.
After the work is completed, tap water may become cloudy. However, the water does not pose a health risk, although it is advisable to let it settle before consumption. The cloudy water can be flushed from the system by briefly opening a garden tap after the work has been completed, Debreceni Vízmű Zrt. said.
