Next week marks the 9th edition of the Gourmet Festival, held once again at the scenic Békás Lake in Debrecen’s Big Forest.
The Debrecziner Gourmet Festival is a vibrant culinary celebration that will open its gates on June 13 to food enthusiasts. The beautiful Nagyerdő area in Debrecen sets the stage for this event, where Hungary’s top restaurants, bistros, patisseries, and cafés will present their extraordinary gastronomic offerings.
A press conference was held on Friday to preview the event. For fun, Mayor László Papp, Zita Dobos (head of Főnix Event Organizer), and László Bárány (CEO and owner of main sponsor Master Good) cooked together. Of course, key details were also shared: this year’s festival theme is “Movies & Food” – chefs will be preparing dishes inspired by cinematic works.
