The Debrecen city police made great efforts in the field of arresting and prosecuting thieves an pickpockets.
Two thieves were arrested recently, who "worked" at the train station.
They have used the inattention of their victims. There was a case where passengers had been waiting for the transfer leaving their bags on the ground. The passengers realized later that their purses missing. In another
case the passenger get off the train for smoking awaiting the train`s departure while he left his bag unattended. The thieves used that minutes to nick his values. Unfortunately, common to all cases that the victims keeping their ID S and documents together inside their wallets and purses so they have to spend money and time to replace these as well.
