Nearly 350 soldiers began the 3 month preparation for the new Afghanistan mission in mid-September.
Soldiers of the 5th Istvan Bocskai Rifle Brigade nearly ready to be the backbone of the 10th contingent of the
Provincial Reconstruction Team. The training will run until December 22 when the soldiers leave for a Christmas break and finish their training during January and prepare to leave in February to the operations area.
A total of 11 female soldiers will be deployed to Afghanistan.
The 240 Hungarian, 5 Croatian, 33 Montenegrin and 2 albanian soldiers participate in this mission.
