The Investigation Department of the Debrecen Prefecture of Police is investigating the case of I.S. who has committed vandalism and other crimes.
According to the available data, I.S. intentionally scratched the left side of a BMW 320 in the Kálvin Square parking lot on 31.08.2011, between 5 pm. and 4 pm., causing 160.000 HUF damages. He scratched the side of another BMW standing nearby, with a prodding tool in a horizontal direction.
During the interrogation I.S. said that he had acted out of spite. He decided he would damage every BMW in the parking lot. On noticing the impairment, the owner of the BMW 320 notified the police but the owner of the other BMW left before the arrival of the police. They are still searching for him.
