The Morzsányi Love Association will bring durable food packages to families before Christmas. The packages are scheduled to be delivered on December 21st.
According to Andrea Leipzig, the head of the association, the current number can unfortunately be expanded “indefinitely”, as many poor people live in Debrecen. How many of our fellow human beings we can help depends largely on how much donation we receive, she added.
The association’s requests for the Christmas of the poor in Debrecen:
- We are waiting for unlimited quantities of DURABLE FOOD, potatoes, apples, citrus fruits, sugar, children’s toys, children’s books. /We do not collect used clothes now./;
- We are waiting for applications from restaurants in Debrecen that want to prepare hot food;
- We apply for bakeries and grocery stores so that you don’t lose anything that can help the needy;
- We are waiting for the application of families from Debrecen who would provide food for a poor family on Christmas Eve;
- We welcome computers and laptops, most poor families lack the basic conditions for online education;

In light of the virus situation, show that human love and goodness cannot be defeated. Let’s help more and more poor families believe that they are loved and cared for. All our neighbors need a little warmth and love.
