The investment of more than half a billion will strengthen the city’s attractiveness and resilience with several elements, the city council has announced. At the handover, the Secretary of State for Culture Péter Fekete announced that the first 10 events will be funded by the Ministry and that the purchase of the organ will be supported with HUF 2 million.
As previously reported, as part of the Green City program, the building underwent energy modernization, mechanical development, and interior redevelopment, and the second floor, which had not been built so far, also significantly increased its useful floor area. The park next to the House of Culture and Library was renewed, a parking lot was created, and the area around the building was paved.
