A serious accident occurred in Debrecen. Zsolt Hegyi, the CEO of MÁV, wrote on social media that a VOLÁN bus and a local DKV bus collided head-on.
He wrote that the most seriously injured person in the accident was the driver of the local bus, who had to be taken to the hospital. He added that the driver and 14 passengers on the VOLÁN bus were more lightly injured and were treated at the scene.
Rescue operations have ended, and traffic has returned to normal on the affected section.
