Police have closed the road section affected by the accident for the duration of the scene investigation, they are diverting traffic.
A fatal road traffic accident happened on January 21st around 7:40 a.m. in the 5th kilometer section of road no. 4911 between Nyíregyháza and Nagykálló. A car traveling in the direction of Nagykálló slipped on the road and drifted into the opposite lane, where it collided with a minibus traveling to Nyíregyháza. The 22-year-old woman, who was traveling alone in a car, suffered so serious injuries that she lost her life on the scene. By the time of the scene investigation, the police had closed the road section affected by the accident, and traffic was diverted from both directions to Nyíregyháza-Nyírjestanya.
