The 5th International Percussion Competition was organized in Lithuania last weekend.
The first place was given to Bence Simon, 2nd year BA student of Faculty of Music of University of Debrecen by the American, Belgian, Taiwan, Italian, Belarus, Latvian, Polish, Lithuanian jury.
The difficulty of the competition was that students had to prove their talents in three-rounds, they had to play on the marimba, the vibraphone, the timpani and the tabor.
Professor Dr. István Szabó helped Bence to prepare for the competition.
