100 years ago to the Hungarian Royal University opened its door for students. Three faculties, 28 institutes led by 19 professors characterized the university.
This year’s opening ceremony was conducted in the same way as it was in 1014 – it was held together with the Reformed Theological University and it started with a worship.
1700 students took their university oath in the Great Church, where Viktor Orbán, President of Hungary was also present.
