On September 19, 2022, municipal representative Csaba Papp reported on the spot about the sidewalk and staircase renovations that will continue this year on Hortobágy Street in Debrecen.
As he said, among other things, he is very happy that the renovation of the pavement and stairs on Hortobágy Street continues and is completed with this investment. The present is the third stage of this work. The previous two stages took place on Hortobágy Street in 2020 and 2021, worth HUF 5 and HUF 28 million respectively.
The value of the current third phase is 30 million forints gross, and it fits into the 2022 sidewalk repair program with a total gross value of 159 million forints, which is taking place at nearly 60 locations in the city this year from the municipality’s own resources.
Csaba Papp said that the pavement repair in this area can also be solved with paving.
The entire width of the sidewalk section on Hortobágy Street, which is now being renovated, has a total area of 1,000 square meters, and 4 steps along it will also be renovated. Csaba Papp emphasized that, according to the plans, the renovation of the sidewalk on the other side of Hortobágy utca will also begin next year – informed the municipality of Debrecen.
